The creative process.

Step One - Inspiration

The first very important step is identifying a creative direction for your wedding suite. Share with us all your ideas, visions, chosen vendors and event information. We will work closely with you to develop a mood board that reflects your special day and helps visualise and dictate a design direction for the overall aesthetic of your suite including elements such as typography, colour palette and print finish.

Step Three - Refinement and Rollout

Once you have decided on your favourite design concept, we will refine, make requested amends and role out the final design in two stages. Stage one will be completion of your full wedding invitation suite to be sent to your guests. Step two is the rollout and completion of all ‘on the day’ items required. We will make as many refinements until every piece is perfect for you and your special day. This design stage takes approximately 2-3 weeks also.

Step Two - Design

Once your design mood board is signed off, the fun part begins. We will spend our time designing the perfect wedding suite, just for you. The initial design concept stage takes approximately 3-4 weeks. Upon completion, you will be presented with 3 design options for your main invitation only.

Step Four - Print and Deliver

Once all design is is approved and officially signed off, your wedding stationery is ready to print. This process also happens in two stages. Stage one is the print and delivery of your wedding stationery suite. Stage two is the print and delivery of your ‘on the day’ stationery which usually happens closer to the wedding date, when you have all the necessary information required to finalise items such as the seating chart, food and beverage menu’s, etc. The print and production for both of these stages takes approximately 2-3 weeks depending on print finish required.

The creative timeline.

A typical custom suite will take approximately 8-12* weeks to complete, from the concept development phrase to final print production and delivery. Please get in touch with us at least 12 weeks before you would like to send your wedding stationery to your guests to ensure we can meet your required deadline.
